Gossamer  is a story about an older woman, her dog, Toby, John and the Littlest one.  The woman and Toby live by themselves and then adopted John.  John’s mother treated him more like a friend than a son and his father was cruel to him and his mom.
	John starts out mean and doesn’t like Toby.  He slowly forms an attachment to Toby and the woman.  Littlest one has to strengthen John so he can face the horde.  Will John get to live with his mom?  Will Littlest survive?  Find out by reading Gossamer   by Lois Lowry.

	Gossamer  is an epic adventure about a special little dream giver, named Littlest One and a troubled boy.  Littlest is assigned a house with an elderly woman who takes care of a small boy named John.  Everything goes wrong when a horde of sinisteeds comes to give the elderly woman and John nightmares that weaken them.
