I read Out of Order  by Betty Hicks.  The book was very good.

I liked Eric because he likes black.  He also wants a hearse, you know, the cars that carry caskets and dead people.  They are also black.  Eric and his new family have problems getting along.

You need to read this book to find out what happens.

The story is about two different families that come together.  There’s Parker (Mud boy), Eric who always wears black, V, who is a 14 year old girl and Lily.

Lily’s sunflower is ruined and she blames the whole thing on V. V says she didn’t do it.  The whole family gets in on the whole thing.

Did V ruin Lily’s sunflower?  Read this book and you will find out all of the important events and the truth about who ruined the sunflower.
