Rules is a very good book.  It is about a girl named Catherine and her little brother David, who has autism. One day Catherine meets a boy name Jason.  He has to use special word cards to speak.  Then Catherine starts making cards for Jason.  See how Catherine deals with her brother and friends.  I think Cynthia Lord is a very talented author.

	Rules  is a story about a girl named Catherine with an annoying brother named David that goes to therapy.  That is how she met Jason, a boy that invited her to a birthday party.  Her old neighbor moved out and a new girl named Kristi moved in.  Kristi invited her to a dance on the same day of the birthday party.  Will she go to the dance or the birthday party?  If you ask me it was the best book I ever read.  If you want to learn more read Rules.
